Join us at Supercar Sunday at Brooklands Museum this weekend as The Best of Italy Festival ambassador Jodie Kidd unveils the stunning Super Monoposto.
The Best of Italy Festival has commissioned this one-off Maserati race car, code named the Super Monoposto, to be the star attraction at their inaugural September race event. The Super Monoposto is inspired by the Maserati 320S, designed by Italian design house Giugiaro, and built by Italian coach builders Candini. The BOIF car is a true barchetta, with a single racing seat and limited weather protection from a small aero screen. Based on a Maserati 4200 it retains its 4.2, V8, Ferrari engine, with some light modifications to boost power to around 430 BHP. O.Z have supplied a one-off set of 19” racing wheels, tyres by Pirelli, and seat, harnesses and other renewed parts by Sparco.
The Best of Italy Festival runs from 16-18 of September and will showcase the very best of Italian supercars, motorbikes and bicycles, in Emilia Romagna, Italy. Organisers are delighted to announce that Jodie Kidd, model, presenter and racing driver, will be driving this one-off Maserati at the event.
